Coronavirus updates
Heal recommends a COVID-19 vaccination for everyone ages 5 and older. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends everyone ages 18 years and older should get a booster dose of either Pfizer or Moderna at least 5 months after the last dose in their primary series (or at least 2 months after the first dose of J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine). Teens 12-17 years old should get a Pfizer vaccine booster 5 months after their last dose.
Please continue to protect yourself and your loved ones by wearing a mask and practicing social distancing when appropriate, and washing your hands regularly.

If you think you may have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19 or you are experiencing symptoms of a cough, fever, headache, or fatigue, we encourage you to use an at-home rapid test or find your local COVID-19 testing center. You may also want to use an at-home COVID-19 test before joining indoor gatherings with others who are not in your household, even if you are not experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
As of January 2022, every U.S. home is now eligible to order 4 free at-home COVID-19 tests. These tests are available online at https://www.covidtests.gov/ or call 1-800-232-0233 to get help in English, Spanish, and more than 150 other languages.
What to do if you test positive for COVID-19
If your test results are positive, this means that the test detected the virus, and you are likely to have an infection. Please isolate for 5 days, wear a mask around others, and call Heal to schedule a telemedicine appointment with your provider to discuss a care plan. Your provider may advise that you continue wearing a mask, not travel, and avoid being around people who are high risk for an additional 5 days.
